The Commercial and Procurement Branch is the South Australian Government's centre of excellence for procurement, commercial advisory and strategic contracting. The branch partners with agencies to deliver value for money, support government priorities, strengthen capability, manage major commercial transactions and lead procurement reform across the public sector

The branch has four core objectives:

2. providing strategic advisory and policy leadership
3. collaborating and partnering to achieve the best outcomes
4. building a capable and engaged workforce.
