The Responsible Gambling Working Party was established in November 2006 and operated until February 2013. It was tasked with reporting to the Minister for Gambling, on strategies to support customers in making commitments about their level of play on electronic gaming machines. The Working Party’s three key focus areas were:
- informed decision-making
- money management
- player tracking and pre-commitment systems.
The Working Party provided the minister with progress reports about the work it undertook and evaluation reports of player tracking and pre-commitment trials.
