The Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) has participated in the CPA Passport Program since 2008.
The program is for second year students of accounting, commerce, economics or finance degrees interested in gaining short term paid professional work experience.
You can register for CPA Passport on the CPA website. CPA notifies you when registrations for the internship program open.

Preliminary work for financial statements including updating financial statements spreadsheets, preparation of opening balance working papers, preparation of accrual reversal working papers.
Management accounting tasks including monthly management reporting such as budget vs actual variance analysis and FTE variance analysis.
Salary and conditions

There is flexibility in the starting dates and length of the internship for you to complete your exams or if you have other commitments.
Our 2008 internship program employed five students for contracts from 2–13 weeks. Feedback from our interns indicated that they gained valuable work experience and enjoyed the challenges.
